Most new nursing homes are set up to make residents retain as much independence as possible, with each resident having their own room and having rooms available to suit couples who can live together. All modern rooms will have features such as:

All these features will be alongside the regular furniture such as beds and wardrobes. En suites are also a regular in modern rooms.

A large, safe and secure garden is extremely important for residents maintaining independence. Residents like to partake in gardening tasks as-well as relaxing in the sun. Some homes have dedicated salons within the premises along with rooms for residents to undergo reminiscence therapy.

If your home is built over more than one storey then lift will be important for residents and visitors, you will need to decide whether to have designed nursing stations on each floor or have one large station situated on just one floor.

With new homes constantly being built, buying a home is easier than ever. Estate agents dedicated to selling businesses can be found easily online, with most having their own websites advertising new homes for sale. Adverts will all include details of price, turnover and contact details of the seller.
